About Me
I am a professional photographer and have been since 2003. My Studio is based in the City Centre of Wakefield (West Yorkshire) where I work 5-6 days a week. My main fields of expertise are portraiture, glamour, Lifestyle and Weddings. I attained a Degree in Photography (Arts Media & Design) in 2002 at the very prestigious Stafford University.
My love for Photography started way back in 1979 when I joined the RAF. As travelling and photography was always my passion I guess I had the best of both worlds.
I have also undertaken many courses over the years covering most subjects from Photojournalism to Media and even Design. All photo manipulation is attained using the worlds leading software package CS3 Photoshop. I use other manipulative software like Adobes Lightroom and HDRSoft Photomatix too.
My current interests are Macro. Not only are the results amazing but all the work takes place indoors which is better than trudging around at 6 am on a freezing cold winters morning trying to capture a sunrise! It’s a cop-out I admit, but if I wanted to be cold I would move to Alaska!
